Jackie Makofka

Jackie Makofka

My name is Jackie Makofka, and I am an LPN at Walk-In Care. I have been with RMH for 12 years, with a small gap of absence during those years. I worked in several positions within Providers Services for seven years and decided to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Seventeen long months and two facilities later, I realized I was homesick. I realized that RMH had become so much more than just my place of employment. It was my comfort, my family, it was truly home. I reached out to RMH in hopes of returning and was so grateful to have been given another opportunity.

I have lived in our small community where everyone knows everyone for most of my life. I feel that same hometown feeling carries over within RMH as well. I take pride in knowing that I am part of a team that is dedicated and determined to serve. We have compassion and respect for each other, and more importantly, for our patients. I feel our focus is on our patients receiving the very best experience with us.

I am so thankful for the experiences I have had in my years with RMH. The knowledge, guidance and encouragement I have been given through the years have made me a stronger nurse. Having leaders who want to see our team succeed has helped me grow professionally, as well as, personally. RMH is home for me, and there is no place like home.
